Steve,

I wish Cyrix would do themselves a favour and just drop the damned MII.

I must be the only one thinking that MII is a good chip. And now it seems like it is probably the cheapest chip on the market to make. The only problem with it is that NSM has not been able to increase the clock speed fast enough, and the follow-ups (MXi, Jedi, Jalapeno) are not moving fast enough.

MII is bringing revenues to NSM as we speak, and paying for development of MXi and Jalapeno.

BTW, I am not sure if you cought the last CC, but most of NSMs fabs were running at record low utilization, and anything you can make there that brings solid revenues is good enough.

Joe
