Q. When will the WelcomeTo Search Engine be available?

The WelcomeTo Search Engine is scheduled to be on-line in the first quarter of 1999.

WelcomeTo is planning a worldwide roll out, starting with Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA as its first two target cities. Following that, we will begin to target the top wired North American cities. The search engine will eventually cover cities worldwide.

I took a look at the website. The idea sounds good and will no doubt be a success. But its going to take some times to cover all US cities in detail as this new service requires.

I noted that the site does not even give an expected time for completion of all US cities.

(No doubt a good investment for two year hold.)
