East, I'm also having no problem with Dial Data. As for ProTA Gold, I'm unaware of a 3.0 upgrade. I have 1.01 and have had no problems. My only complaint with Beesoft is that they are very slow to update their web site. They had promised to provide an exchange site for those wanting to share formulae for scans, custom indicators and trading systems. My main Mac frustration is trying to find a site that provides real time streaming data. All that I can find have their own propritory software for PC only. I've finally resorted to buying Virtual PC and using it to download Stockedge's software. The reason I went with Stockedge is that I have an account with Dryfus( formerly Pacific Brokerage). They pay for the real time data on Stockedge if you do 5 trades per month. It's very slow, though, and you are stuck using an emulated access to the internet for placing your orders.
