Bob,

One problem woth MII-350 is that 100 MHz bus probably increases cost of memory and motherboard by too much for it's intednded market. And the multiple for MII is limited to 3.5. So you don't have a great deal to work with.

They can still come out with 266 MHz chip on a cheap 66 MHz bus, but that's pretty much same or worse than 83x3=250.

The 333 has not been as popular with the box makers as the 300 on 66 MHz bus. But there is no reason not to have 300 MHz (MII-350) chip, or even 100x3.5=350 MHz chip (MII-400?)
