Chicago is a Democratic town, you know. If you want a political appointment there, it'd be good to be known as a Democrat. You seem to be using the substantive debate techniques ever popular here, straw man division. Personally, I find that insulting, if not "corrupt".
What I implied was that Schippers got the job because he was a friend of Hyde. He may be perfectly well qualified, but a moral paragon? Well, he is a papal knight and everything, but Hyde got to be a papal knight without exactly being a moral paragon.
As for insults, where, exactly have I insulted you? I disagree with your politics, is that insulting? |
