According to January edition of Red Herring Magazine, the average trailing PE for communication equipment stocks was 43.0 and the average trailing PE for computer networking stocks was 47.8. These figures would probably be for the end of the month of October because their index measures % change in October. These figures would undoubtedly be higher today.
