Hello Ray:

I received the following Email yesterday from GL after complaining about site speed. It looks like we have to look elsewhere for a daytrading broker. Any ideas?

Dear Mr. Shantz,

The WebBroker system (and our other online products) are not designed for
daytrading. This is because our database provider only updates accounts
once a day at 7:30am. If you buy an equity on WebBroker the system will not
recognize the shares in the account until the next day. You will not be
able to sell it on the same day as the purchase.

While Green Line currently has thousands of users successfully accessing and
using the WebBroker service, we recognize that certain users have either
intermittent or unresolved access problems.

If you encounter a temporary system problem which prevents you from trading,
please call our Help Desk at 1-800-667-6299 and your trade will be placed
with a Green Line Investment Representative and the WebBroker discount
applied.

With the internet there are so many factors that can affect performance and
reliability. We are currently working on the next version of WebBroker
which is being developed with the help of feedback from our clients such as
yourself. The focus is to streamline the site to improve speed and
reliability. It is also a top priority to be compatible with new
technologies such as cable connections, ADSL, and WebTV. The new WebBroker
is scheduled for release in 1999.

Until then we appreciate your patience and welcome any suggestions or
comments.

Thank you,
