Yes I saw that too, haven't called them yet. I think you are right in that the G8 price is stale. I have used both G8 and GH from them in the Celeron 300a and both work great. As I mentioned before, I am getting 112mhz (504) out of the G8's so I know you don't need GH to do that. I do think the price difference between GH and G8 is narrowing.

I do buy other memory from The Chip Merchant -www.thechipmerchant.com but I am not sure if they carry Samsung. With overclocking, ram can be very critical and when I am putting a system together I want it to work the first time without alot of testing and fiddling around. So I I like to remove the variables, though with some testing I think generic PC100 ram, or even PC66 would work. Locally I can buy generic PC100 SDRAM pretty cheap, but the brand and spec is always changing so I try not to use it in an overclocked system. You may want to try memory-man.com Looks good but I haven't bought from him.
