David,

Thanks for the tip. Did not know Ms. Tilton was going to be at an API panel at CTST next week. Sweet. As for HAAPI, I don't know how it is doing. Actually, I don't know what the hell NRI is doing in general, so that should not come as a surprise. The only thing I know about HAAPI was that it was supposedly not compatible with Novell when it first came out, but now it apparently is. Also, NRI is talking to or contributing to or somehow involved in the BioAPI, that the big boys are working on. Whatever. HAAPI is just a standard, though, David. There was to be no profit potential from it other than the fact that the various biometric standards were to have worked together. The one common platform theory, if you will. So I doubt that I said that HAAPI was going to take over the world, unless I was misinformed as to the impact it would have, which I highly doubt. I may have said that NRI was going to take over the world, or at least its equivalent, but that is my belief. Reasonable people can differ on opinion, right counselor?

On the other hand if this was a sarcastic attempt on your part to reiterate the "mine is bigger" war between NRI and IDX, don't bother. As your learned friend pointed out "the game is over."

Regards,
Bob
