Winter, you're right on target.

However, just being on the internet doesn't guarantee sales or profits. First, there is more overhead than company's expect. Software engineers are very expensive.

Plus, what big retailer is making any profit on internet yet. Mostly men on internet and we don't like to shop. lol My wife doesn't trust giving credit card number over internet. Even Amazon.com, which will probably dominate everyone else, has not shown a profit to date.

If they can prevent delisting, and that is questionable given that they haven't done anything since warning came out, I'm still not sure they can compete with the big boys. My guess is that after all is said and done with internet, only a few big retailers will survive, with a scattering of mom/pop operations selling fruit cakes, etc.
