James do you suppose the hoisting of the tiny internuts is
the small issue speculation you spoke of as being the final
stage, or do you think the small caps will rally more broadly.
What goes up and what goes down has no theme these days beyond a few hours. Today it is semiconductors and semi capital equipment again.

Have you noticed that, weirdly enough, it is the internuts leading the market. Whenever Nasdaq has a 1b+ share day it is the internuts on the most active, taking about 20% of the volume. Their market cap is now significant and the index no longer means squat. The biggest internet stock is IBM. What would dow level be if IBM were 120 instead of 160?
