I quoted a ballpark of $450 to $500, Ken cited the larger number.

Your point about the combination of 2 functioning pcs digital systems and Airtouch offering 800mhz cdma as well as GTE analog and
(in the future) Nextwave with is potential of multiple resellers would lead the newest player to attempt to capture market share as quickly as possible. In addition, the publicity wars between Airtouch and PacBell during the Republican convention garnered them both a lot press about their digital systems, raising consumer awareness.

How Sprint intends to finally profit from their pricing is a mystery to me. Hopefully their back room brains have it wired (couldn't restrain mysel on the pun) so they will live long and prosper buying oodles of phones and infrastructure.
