I do not see any disingenuous game played here.
In fact Leuthy said somewhere that he/she expected this Q to be good
and I saw an attempt to rationally discuss what might be in store in the future; however, as anywhere else the bulls in the stock will not
try to accept any rational arguments that are against.
About the way author presented excerpts from SEC filings; lets not get too picky and look at the content carefully; most people on the thread are smart enough to go and check on EDGAR to verify; nobody posts perfectly and I did not see any attempt to mislead anyone so quit bitching.

Having said that, if Leuthy had checked for all the Ascend threads
it would be apparent that there was a thread that discussed descent of Ascend and then not much following there; this means that most people
beleive that the company is well poised for growth and do not expect the stock to come down (the discussion on this thread could have been done there instead of proliferating too many threads).
Ascend has surprised the street often and there is no reason to beleive that it will not do it now; although there are some weaknesses in the way the company operates and their present position within the sector.
From the press releases, it seems that the company is very protective of its stock price (which it rightly should be) and tends to release
weak news on occasions (but not as bad as say AOL).
