Okay, this thing is getting clearer and more confusing. I just got off the telephone with Liberty Transfer (516) 385-1616. They are the transfer agent for FNTN. I was told that the only shareholders that they sent proxies to are the ones that they track. These are the shareholders that have requested and received certificates. For anyone who has their shares at a brokerage house, they only have the number of shares at that brokerage. They alert the brokerage house and it is up to them to send out the proxies to their clients. I called Waterhouse and they said that they have no record of me getting a proxy. A very nice guy by the name of Richard Smith said that he would look into it for me. Believe it or not, he just called and said that they are on record as being mailed on 12/1/98.

So at least we know if you have your certs and don't have a proxy, call Liberty. Otherwise, call your broker.

It's a beautiful day in NYC.
