Found this regarding an upcoming presentation by JMAR Research scientists at a conference in Boston on Feruary 2, 1999. High brightness and power Nd:YAG laser H. Rieger, S. Campeau, JMAR Research Inc. We are developing under DARPA contract a laser induced X-ray point source for advanced lithography. We have demonstrated a diode pumped Nd:YAG laser at 250 mJ per pulse, 230 ps pulse duration, and near diffraction limited beam quality. Efficient X-ray generation and harmonic conversion was achieved. source: osa.org
