SFAD's web sites are considerably lacking.
I visited all that are available, and found: one not working, the PII site was worthless (just excerpts from public information), the SFAD site just directed me to one of the other sites, and the Microcomputer site had prices 2x what my local dealer (CompUSA) has everyday. Overall, quite unimpressive.
Now, "catering to the rich" sounds a bit condescending to me, but maybe it will catch people's attention. And what products will they offer that are not already available elsewhere? Where's the revenue stream?
Personally, I do not like this business approach, and do not foresee success. Expecting to "ride the wave" of internet stocks may work for some companies, but I just don't see enough exposure or track record here to justify it. And the nasal spray...well, the proof is in the pudding, I guess, but past experience leads me to believe it just won't happen. Have nasal sprays not improved over the past 12 years??? Also, only 5 years left on the patent. Just something to consider..... |
