Bob, off topic, how do you create the italics bold?

SI apparently supports at least some HTML, so I'm using HTML to do it.

Putting a < and an "i" (without quotes) and a > before text starts italics and using < and "/i" and > after the text turns it off.

Bold works the same way, but uses the letter "b".

It's especially handy for me because my old-time BBS mind-set dictates that I quote a pertinent portion of the text to which I'm replying so it'll be easier for others to see what I'm responding to.

To get the quoted text, I drag my mouse across it, press Ctrl-C, move the mouse to where I want it to appear, click, and press Ctrl-V.
