I know this is a VERY GROSS simplification but the numbers do add up if QCOM has not been increasing their manufacturing capacity significantly. If they have been at full capacity for a year and not increased their capacity significantly in a market that is growing at 100% per, that means they have exactly halved their market share (even though they are selling the same number of phones).

This would pretty much be a management issue!
