<<< Wasn't he discredited years ago like Joe Granville?>>>
I'm not aware of either Dines or Granville being discredited. Being wrong several times, but not discredited. Now Lieb front running his rec's, that's being discredited, IMHO. I doubt that any newsletter writer has a perfect record...no one's omniscient, or infallibe (I can say that since I'm not a Catholic<G>), and while I don't subscribe to any newsletters at present, both Dines and Granville still retain many followers (not me), and being described as "discredited" seems a bit harsh...to me anyway. From reading promo's of Dines' sheet, it seems as though he does his research pretty thoroughly. I can't say anything positive about his timing regarding the precious metals market, but reading good research work never hurts, IMHO. Granville made a contribution (depending on one's viewpoint<G>) to TA, with his On Balance Volume indicator, and helped many to make enormous gains from gold in the 70's...too bad he wasn't also responsible for them keeping it, but then I guess you can't have everything.<G> |
