General Tax question to all. As a newbie to options can someone give me the bumper sticker version of the tax rules. Specifically :
1) whats the last day to sell to establish a gain or loss.
2) What are the wash sale rules? If I sell an option that is a loss, can I buy back a different option in the same company in less than 30 days.
I'm heading for Fort Worth when I log off and wont be able to log on for a couple days so thanks in advance for any replies.
