Actually (and this is just my 2 1/2 cents), I believe the bossmen/ladies are purposefully not linking their communiques to KTEL and the like; the consistent absence from PR to PR (scant in number though they are) seems to indicate this. That's not to say the other companies who may be considered "competition" in this area (CD sales) (I know, we're not in the business of selling CDs, etc.) aren't aware of the release. I'm certain they are.
My belief is TSIG is setting up a number of PRs that will be released in a relatively tight time frame, a sort of guerilla attack that will unavoidably catch the attention of new investors and the "competion", more than just storming the gates, an attack on all the walls as well. So far, we're merely seeing groundwork preparation, you know, building the ladders and catapults, laying in stores, preparing for the siege.
That was no "blockbuster", just a stone thrown over the rampart; the "comp" is chuckling, "is that all you got"? The blockbuster will arrive via catapult, one of those big mothers. You'll know.
