I agree. Getting LMUS out of the picture has many potential advantages.
Lockheed-Martin would not own the operations contract if the margins were not fat.
USEC will now be in a better position to manage the potential liabilities that come with the uranium enrichment process. USEC must place a great deal of trust in the hands of LMUS that they do not become at odds with the NRC or worse have a nuclear accident.
