I just got a copy of the November Conference call tape. Here are some tidbits of info from it:

There are several small Britelight projects currently under development for customers. Every customer's needs are different and Britelight has to be modified for each customer, so lead time on these projects can be 3-6 mos.

The basic model low-power Britelights will be in trade shows in Jan. 1999.

Regarding JMAR's 2-year, $13 million contract with DARPA--it is a cost plus fixed fee contract and JMAR bills DARPA every 15 days and is reimbursed. About $5-6 million of the money will be spent this year, and the rest next year - plus, JMAR expects to get an additional $10 from DARPA probably sometime next year, to take the XRL project to completion.

Margins on XRL are about 35%.

For the current 4th quarter, about 40% of total sales will come from precision instruments, 60% from a combination of XRL and semi-conductors.
