My memory ain't that good! But I would have to agree that the problems should not be insurmountable in this day and age. The quality of Engineering was always very high at Acres, but it's been almost 30 years since I had anything to do with them

That lake is about 30M deep isn't it? Certainly makes life interesting. I seem to remember one of my friends from the old days working on the draining of a good sized lake for a mining co sometime in the 50's. You can do almost anything it just costs money so the economics i.e. cost / benefit ratio has to work out.
