AR, All of these gurus are discredited if they stay with one theme too long. However, Dimes is an excellent analyst with borderline insane political ideas. He likes precious metals as much because he thinks that the govt. will collapse as because they are cheap. Most people will tell you all the mistakes he made ("it is always the right time to buy ASA," is one I remember right before I sold ASA short.). But he has also been right a lot. And he always provides a lot of thought. I respect that, as there is nothing I hate more than a "buy it cause I said so" who calls himself an analyst. <G>
