Denver, just thought I would drop by for a comment on ANTC. This paragraph probably has something to do with it. ANTC had their arms twisted by TCOMA,and knuckled under to doing HFC upgrades on consignment for them. Now they are being pressured it seems to me by NT,and forked over stock and diluted their position in Arris.

Additional details of the proposed combination of Broadband Technology and Arris Interactive, including ownership details, the legal structure of the transaction, and consideration to be paid by ANTEC (which may include ownership dilution in Arris, ANTEC common stock, or other consideration) will be announced at the completion of the transaction. It is estimated that the transaction will close in the first quarter of 1999.

As far as LANCity is concerned, they seem to have the most cable headend installations in the US. Their modems are not that great but the networking expertise of BAY and NT will keep them number one in headend gear.
