STOP THE MADNESS! How can anyone that knows the first thing about business think AOL is a good investment opportunity? Check the facts here... For Q4 of 1995 (the last data available) you have a company with Net income of 250 mil, with profits of 10 mil, giving a profit margin of 4.3%. EPS 0.10. And this is a company with 7 BILLION market capitalization because people who are buying the stock refuse to accept, or simple don't have knowledge of the FACTS. Time for a REALITY CHECK. People have become so enamored of the stock market, they are buying the stock as the commodity instead of investing in a company. People act like high school cheerleaders rooting their home team instead of looking at the financial position of the company with whom they wish to invest. The CEO can keep doing a song and dance to draw attention away from this, but the financial facts speak for themselves.
