Well, this thread doesn't seem to have many interested posters, but I was comparing some figures today after reading the satire in WSJ about mergers. Some people were seriously asking on threads today whether Dell was going to buy CPQ. Well I note that while Dell has a larger market cap (due to stock price) than CPQ, CPQ has twice the cash on hand and no debt. Dell has a debt of of about 33%. I think that just about answers the question of who could acquire whom. Chris P.
