Paranoid Jack, just because you are paranoid, it does not means "THEY" are not following you... In any event, every calamity has its silver lining. The collapse of Asia brings lower prices less inflation and strong bonds. SDtrong bonds make investment in stock justifiable at higher PE, such higher PE justify dreaming about a new retail industry and thus a new internet mania (the fact of the matter is that the winners in this fight will be those that have established strong brand names or have transferred "mall brand names" to internet brand names, but the total amount of consumer demand will not change materially, a zero sum equation).
