AMD is not acquiring another company for their .18um process ... Instead,
AMD is putting itself at the mercy of Motorolo for new technology. Very
quickly, process development engineers will leave AMD and they will lose
all process development capabilities. It will be difficult to undo this
decision if it doesn't work out.
