Very intelligent points.

The sales model has been changing dramatically - as management finally admitted once the stock tanked. It has become very difficult to lock up the large multi-year contracts. Much more of a buyers market has developed. And one that is increasingly dominated by distributors rather than direct sales. Customers have more alternatives and can delay purchasing decisions as prices drop. What does that mean to the management and sales force? The lucrative commission structure gets slammed and stock options that attracted aggressive management talent becomes valued as wall paper. This doesn't mean the company will collapse but it helps to errode the picture for sales growth and profits.

This company is run by carpet baggers who are taking their loot back to their home land.
