WHAT: Intel Corporation, the Department of Energy (DOE),
and DOE's Sandia National Laboratories will make an
important announcement on Tuesday, Dec. 8 in
conjunction with the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA), the Air Force Research Lab
(AFRL), and the National Reconnaissance Office
(NRO).
A press conference will be held at 12:15 p.m. at
Intel headquarters at 2200 Mission College Boulevard
in Santa Clara.
The announcement will be made by Department of
Energy Secretary Bill Richardson and Intel President
and Chief Executive Officer Craig Barrett, along
with Dan Goldin, NASA Administrator; Edward C.
Stone, Director, Jet Propulsion Laboratory; John
Crawford, Executive Vice President of Sandia
National Laboratories; and Keith Hall, Director of
the National Reconnaissance Office.
