cheeky, my feeling when reading of your mishaps was that you would benefit from a good utilities suite, like norton's 3.0. i am a believer in symantec's products. also, have you checked under device manager for conflicts? and what about turning down your hardware acceleration? heck, i'm just suggesting a few areas i'd check. are you familiar with norton's utilities 3.0? keep it in mind. and good luck. mark
