Robert, I needed no convincing that chips are becoming more pervasive, although I appreciate the details and links. Especially that of the worlds most impressive animal. Thank you! The growth projections for all regions of the world [found in Economist] look like growth IS slowing, but not becoming negative overall. The world is, of course, interlinked. That makes it easy for bear or bull to bolster his case. Just scan the web for a story to back your desired scenario. Gottfried
