Paul,

thanks for the great post from Alex Lenke! i keep reading it over and over it smells so good. ;-))

unfortunately sending my new 400 Mhz Dell back next week and already have a new one (yep, staying with Dell) on the way. it blacked out every now and then, randomly. a little bummed about it. when it worked, it was awesome though. i think either the win98 didn't work too hot, or dell just forgot to check my system (most likely because i looked inside and the dvd rom was connected to the wrong speaker port!)...didn't care too much because i have this rather screwed up notion that my system must be one of those few that got overlooked because business is so strong. ;-)

I do RECOMMEND THE DVD-ROM option for new PC buyers...this is pretty cool and its backward compatible with all CD roms and music CDs. a must now.

cheers,
pigboy
