SILVER is definately mentioned: Three of them mentioned in the Mexico Holdings, but I suspect that all copper Phrophrys have some AG also. RE: jaba.com JABA Inc., ARTURO PROJECT SONORA, MEXICO Arturo is a volcanic-hosted gold-silver property located 60 km southeast of the 15.8 billion pound copper mines of Nacozari and La Caridad. Mineralization occurs within a high-level, epithermal-? environment associated with a rhyolite porphyry dome within an area of complex, intersecting caldera rims studded with numerous mid-Tertiary rhyolite porphyry resurgent domes.
In 1981, UraMex examined the area for uranium in response to an airborne radiation survey, which resulted in the drilling of 11 holes (1,200m total) and a 15m adit within the most altered area. No core samples survive, but of the 116 samples collected by JABA outside the rhyolite dome, 93 were in silicified breccia with values up to 0.15 ppm gold with anomalous silver, arsenic and molybdenum. Within the uraniferous rhyolite porphyry dome, there is a 300m by 400m area of argillization, silicification and breccia-hosted mineralization. Surface and adit samples primarily from fault-brecciated rhyolite and quartz veins in this area reported values up to 0.43 ppm gold, 26.5 ppm silver, 1,080 ppm arsenic, 8,700 ppm molybdenum and anomalous uranium, supporting the high-level porphyry-style mineral potential.
JABA has signed an option with the owners for a free first year, with US$15,000 due annually on the 8th of August with a buy-out of $US3.96 million after 6 years. No NSR's are attached to the property, but an increase in annual payments is due if the property is passed through to another company.
Location: 190 km northeast of Hermosillo, near the town of Huasabas and 70 km east of JABA's Opata project. Property Size: 1,645 has (16.45 sq km / 6.4 sq. mi) Infrastructure: Fair, one hour ride on good road from Moctezuma
JABA Inc., NIKO PROJECT CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO 25 kilometers east of the mining town of Naica lies a low range of hills that are the Niko property. Naica hosts a world-class, 25-million-tonne poly-metallic silver-zinc-lead-copper-gold-tungsten ore body in altered limestone that has been mined continuously and profitably since the late 1800's. Enrique Saldaña, Chief Geologist, Compañia Minera JABA, S.A. de C.V., noticed that the Cerros Prietos (the Dark Hills, our Niko Hills), shown on the Chihuahua geologic maps as volcanic rocks, were actually white marble startlingly similar to the Aurora Hill that overlies the ore body at Naica. The Niko area has known small-scale mercury mining, and our geochem shows a cluster of areas that are convincingly anomalous in appropriate metals to suggest that a ‘Naica twin' analog may exist beneath Niko outcrops. No geophysics has yet been done. Naica revealed itself at the surface only in manganese-oxide-clad calcite veinlets, and it appears that a 1,000-foot vertical hole anywhere in the manganese vein zone from the Naica surface would have cut mineralization. The same veinlets and other favorable signatures such as mercuric veins, silica-sulfide nodules in breccias, and a 50- by 85-meter-wide manganese-cemented breccia pipe are found at Niko. Nodules of strongly re-crystallized skarnoid chert or siltstone were recently discovered on the most geochemically anomalous hill; assays are pending. JABA management considers the Niko area an exciting prospect for a major deposit for silver, zinc, lead, copper-gold production; JABA holds 100% control, with a minor buyout upon discovery. Negotiations with a major joint venture partner are currently underway.

JABA Inc., CENTAURO PROJECT CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO A profoundly important result of the 1980's and 1990's has been the recognition that there are many subsets of ‘epithermal' deposits of gold and silver, generally with mercury, arsenic, and antimony. One of those subsets involves feeder veins that extend up through shallow rocks into sub-horizontal silicification caps, blanket-form bodies that were sub-horizontal solution boiling zones, as seen at Grassy Mountain, Oregon, Wind Mountain and Round Mountain, Nevada, Waterloo and McLaughlin, California, Hardshell, Arizona, quite possibly at Pierina, Peru and at El Sauzal near Batopilas, Mexico, 150 miles to the west of Centauro. These deposits vary in their economic metal ratios but are equivalent in their porous-permeable host rock characteristics and their low pressure-temperature environments of formation. At Centauro, there is a broad carapace of silica-replaced limestone conglomerate, now a tabular bold hilltop jasperoid, a slab measuring 1.5 by 2.5 kilometers in area and perhaps 100 meters thick. The property has been leased and sampled by three companies, the last of which this spring drilled six 300-meter reverse circulation holes, five at the south end and one near the north end. All of the drill holes appear to have been sited too low in the section and on the margin of the hydrothermal system as we interpret it; the nearly barren holes at downward angles took them below the propitious silica horizon. Having revisited the area (we recommended it to ‘competition' before JABA was formed) and having seen the placement of the holes (placed by them to keep costs low), and having collected realgar and orpiment (sulfides of arsenic, an indicator of gold) in outcrop in a black silicified ‘feeder' zone, JABA suggests a grid set of 8-10 vertical drill holes from the high silicified outcrops down through the fossil boiling zone where we predict that the gold-silver values exist. The El Sauzal ‘delayed discovery' through the perseverence of Alain Charest of Francisco Gold we think will prove precisely analogous. Subject to a minimal buyout, JABA controls 100% of the deposit, which has multi-million ounce gold and silver potential.
