I agree this is a very frustrating situation. Tons of potential in their customer lists, installed base, newer technology, Spectrum software, but a bonehead in the driver's seat. If Benson leaves, that might unlock the potential and restore credibility with WS. If he doesn't wait too long. If they find someone good. If they can find anyone good after what happened to Don Reed. If they can find someone good and convince WS that he will be in control and free from board (ie B & L) interference.

Maybe Benson will decide like Levin that he doesn't need the aggravation anymore and will really turn the reins over to professional management. Look what a CEO change did to UIS. Look what a good CFO did to restore ASND's credibility.

I've spent a year building a position in CS and I'm not going to sell until either the company realizes its value or convinces me there's no chance of that happening. The speed things move in the industry says one or the other should happen in 6-12 months.

I'd been giving CB the benefit of the doubt but the story of the CC and your attempts to reach them (over and above the warning itself and all that implies) tell me he's the wrong guy. Jerking around AG Edwards and ML was such a stupid thing to do too. As if CS doesn't need friends on WS.
