Zeem: Thanks for your response. I guess we'll just agree to disagree. Perhaps I took your comments the wrong way.
I am in a business that interacts with many companies, most of which are in retail. Unfortunately, many of the most profitable retailers are very difficult to deal with and yes, they can and often do use strong arm tactics. My mandate with our little company is that if you can't make a profit with a customer, don't continue to sell that customer. As a result, we do not sell to May Co, Spiegel, Federated Dept Stores, etc. In spite of that, we do very well.
But I have to tell you that I love Wal-Mart, both as a shareholder and as a shopper. They do alot right. I have never tried to sell our goods to Wal-Mart and that may explain the difference in our opinions.
I hope you do very well with Amazon. Honestly, I would love to try out some of the net stocks but don't have the stomach for it...I worry when my stocks drop 1/2 point!
