Jules, wish I could tell you what to do, but we're strangers after all and I don't know anything about your financial situation.

In many respects I am an aggressive investor -- sometimes greatly concentrating my portfolio in a single stock or sector instead of diversifying the way more conservative people do. The exception is that I don't margin. Was wiped out twice that way in the '80s and decided it would never happen again.

A friend of mine, on the other hand, never learned this lesson and recently lost a bundle of money by being forced to sell shares under margin pressure. The stock is now recovered somewhat, someone with more funds at their disposal benefited from his weakly held shares, and he's got nothing to show for it except empty hands.

So, now, I will give a piece of advice -- if you can't cover your margin completely (and with this volatility we might see $5 or under temporarily), consider whether it's better to back away now or get forced out later.

Good luck,
Ariella
