Obviously I don't know the real answer but I'll suggest a few.

Q had great revenue growth last year despite "losing" mkt share so, like I said, the picture is clearly more complicated than this data suggests.As Gregg has repeatedly stated the business model is different than other wireless companies because of royalties,manyfacturing alliances, ASICs sales, G*, and now Wireless Knowledge.

I suppose you alluded to this in your post but perhaps they decided to try and get the manufacturing process under control given the quality issues they faced last year before going on yet another expansion binge.
