jlallen, I would say that the Repubs and allies have won the debate on this thread after about 17,000 posts. However, even though I believe that the House will vote to impeach the President, the trial will fail to get a 2/3 majority in the Senate. Personally, I think the 3 impeachment counts should read as: 1) Lying to the American people. 2) Failure to cooperate with Independent Council Ken Starr. 3) Perjury, witness tampering, and subornation of perjury. I think those 3 counts are compelling. I would vote to remove him from office if I was in the Senate. We shall see what the future brings... -John
