Rocky was/is a jerk....pure and simple!

His "non-posting" is like being freed from prison. It wouldn't surprise me at all that Jock got him!! If that IS the case, congratulations to Jock.

IMHO, those (like me) who have a vested interest in Iomega get really tired of the relentless bashing/trashing that spewed from this little RODENT! It's human nature....when we "like" something we don't appreciate someone else relentlessly making disparaging comments about it, even if they are right.

I like to own stocks that have a dominant position in their niche of the market....that's why I bought Intel back in 1996 and still hold it. Intel has competition (AMD Cirrus, Motorola) but ALL that competition only comprises about 10% of the market. As far as I'm concerned, Iomega has, and will continue to enjoy, the same type of dominant position in it's niche with all the competition jockying for a distant second place.

Buying a high capacity drive that clings to the past with 3.5" floppy compatability is NOT my idea of moving forward. A guy on the Motley Fool board has already got his hands on one of the new Sony HiFD drives and guess what? You HAVE to have a regular floppy disk drive in your computer to install the software for the HiFD!!! What's with that?

According to this twit anything Iomega does or ever will do is wrong, while all the competitors can do no wrong. There is something awfully wrong with that kind of reasoning.

Doing thorough DD and being aware of ALL the pros and cons of an investment is a good thing, but that piece of #$@&& overstepped his his bounds going all the way back to when the other jerk, Joel Sternberg was posting here. I don't wish either one of these "creatures" good luck at all. Instead, I hope they get a dose of their own medicine from something/someone else in life and see how they like it!

Off my soapbox now,

Dave
