I don't think anyone has mentioned this. I've seen about two or three generic playstation ads which feature multiple game characters, including Lara, coming in to save people from boredom. This may add additional Lara recognition. Additionally, I saw a Dell advertisement talking about how real the experience is with their new video cards - and has Lara's booted feet coming out of the monitor. That's more of a stretch.
