I am not surprised at your proclamation of "victory", considering that there are many Repubs here who think they actually won in the elections last month! As for impeachment, I notice that President Clinton is not making any efforts to avoid the vote, and try for a censure instead. Perhaps it's because he knows it is not going to go through, thanks to the 15-20 "floor-crossers" from the GOP? Maybe! After all, Clinton was the only one talking about education, social security, patients' Bill of Rights etc. before the elections, and even the Republicans admitted later that that was the issue which they ought to have focused on, during the run-up to the November elections... Clinton has been right, and he could be right again! While the Republicans have been wrong, and they could be wrong yet again!
