Hmmm, the weird thing is that one of the reasons I invested in Pixar was because of the new deal with Disney, but I invested in Nov 1997!

Are you sure the new deal with Disney wasn't announced before 1998? I was pretty sure that the only surprise I faced after investing was the TSII announcement, which moved the stock from the 20s to the 30s (I know, because I sold part of my stake at that point).

I think your time is off. I think the deal with Disney was made during the dark times between 10s and 20s.
