Just got my February issue of PC Magazine and the Gateway 2000 with a STB Velocity card posted a score that put it 51% ahead of its nearest competitor and number 1 in the Winstone 97 test. It was number one in 4 out of 5 graphics tests and in the one that it wasn't first, it was second by .2sec. This was in their MMX Pentium article, funny thing, it seems that the only graphics chips companies represented were S3, ATI, and Matrox. Sounds like the new Virge is quite an improvement over the previous version. Maybe one of our members who works at STB could give his opinion on the new Virge's abilities compared to the competitors and the previous version of Virge.
