Darrell and all, Im sure there is something to business to business auctions. Not saying theres no need for it at all. But Im not sure its what some people here make it out to be, and I think it might be another space that onsl is moving into mainly because their business model isnt nailed down (vs the superior option of actually determining that bus to bus auctions are a great place to be). Im just trying to get people to think about it a little - what kind of manufacturer is going to use actions for purchasing huh? Dell or GM? No way. The grey market might, as someone here mentioned, but that market is identical to person to person auctions in my mind.

BTW my favorite internet stock is doubleclick because I love the concept of targeted advertising. Just today on the radio I heard someone say that classical radio is going away but the internet makes it possible to listen to any niche music market without the cost/complexities of having to broadcast (and gain a large enough mkt to remain in business). Sounds great. But notice dlck is not one of the highflying internet stocks, youd be better off with onsl. So you all may be right with regards to stock price of onsl appreciating. Im just saying that fundamentally, business to business auctions are not a good idea for mainstream mfg. Person to person is good, but onsl is not the leader there, ebay is.
