navarre has been around for a while, as a music company, and distributor for indie companies. here's loosely how it works in music... bmg has their own distribution center...so anything bmg related gets distributed by bmg. columbia, warner, etc. have the same thing. so the 'big boys' or majors have their own distribution, so they can ship out to stores, press, radio, etc. but what's a small label to do? that can take tons of man-hours to organize. so, smaller labels look for a distribution site to distribute their music. navarre is one of the bigger ones among the 'non-majors'. i'm not in navr, nor will i be (no options available). info's just for background purposes. - bob
