We are still awaiting results which are expected by the end of the year. Attached is the latest Interim Report from Tandem web site:
< tandem-resources.com >. Sorry for the delay in responding.

INTERIM REPORT For Nine Months Ended September 30th, 1998

TO THE SHAREHOLDERS:
Tandem Resources Ltd. ("Tandem") reports that testing of a bulk sample from its ruby-diamond discovery in Guibord Township near Matheson, Ontario, is close to completion. The size of the sample, approximated 17.5 tons of "P" core (better than 3 inches in diameter) extracted in the drilling program, carried out this past winter.
The testing carried out by Saskatchewan Research Council obtained 96 macro corundums (better than 0.5 millimetres in diameter) of various shades of red which may be classified as rubies. Of the total, nine corundum were better than 2.0 millimetres in diameter with a weight slightly better than 1.0 carats.
The bulk of the rubies obtained so far would not be considered to be of gem quality, but 2.5 tons of the original material (17.5 tons) remains to be tested.
There is approximately 1.5 tons of oversize material (greater than 0.8 millimetres) resulting from the initial work which remains to be tested.
Tandem is considering plans for further work this winter.
We present herewith our unaudited Operating Statements for the nine months period ended September 30th, 1998 with comparative figures for the same period last year.
