"They are pumping out as many as they can, but they can't pump them out fast enough..." They could work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and build more production lines. The flood of demand was obviously going to happen this year - disappointing to have been caught flat-footed and with quality problems to boot. Design has to be fast too. As Tero says, this is FAST moving business and forget about the geek, nerd, business hot shot markets as the main ones, though of course they will need their products too. This is going to be a hugely fragmented market - multilingual, all ages, sports, industries, interests - the whole panoply of human characteristic is going to be expressed. This is not like cars which are a big capital item. Not like Big Macs which are not bought by everyone. This is a product for all people - even deaf ones who will use the email function with voice conversion to script. Each individual will look for things individually tailored to their needs and fancies. QUICKLY Q! Hire some design aces and pour out a kaleidoscope of products quickly. Mqurice
